A Day at the Lazarcade!

FEATURING: Lumpy, Cuddles, Giggles, Maple, Petunia, Flaky, Mime, Lammy and Mr. Pickles, Pop n’ Cub, Disco Bear, Toothy, Handy, Nutty, The Mole

Disco Bear was currently on the dance dance revolution game in the arcade. He was currently racking up a really high score, already several minutes into a play session when suddenly a small but hefty white ball suddenly smacked into the side of his leg. He jumped up and almost fell over, clutching his leg as the game over screen blared. He had an annoyed look as he gazed around, but it didn’t last long as Cub walked up to DB and picked up the ball. Disco bear watched as he returned to Pop at one of those skeeball machines.

Cub threw the ball and got the worst possible outcome, cheering out as a few tickets came out of the machine. He and Pop walked away and went on to another game. The Mole then walked up to the skeeball machine and felt a ball that Cub forgot to throw, he picked it up and kept aiming straight forward. The Mole threw the ball like a baseball instead of rolling it, it flew forward, hit the edge of the cage and flew towards Disco Bear again. DB hit a big move and held it until suddenly the skeeball donked him in the head, it made him lose his balance and he fell backwards, his back crashing down on the safety rail and breaking, leaving Db bent very harshly over the bar.

Pop and Cub walked up to an indoor bowling lane and Pop scanned the card, making the bowling balls appear in the thing. Pop watched as Cub grabbed a bowling ball and rolled it forward with a crazy slow speed. Pop watched for a minute, but he realized how long the ball was going to take before hitting the gutter, so he pulled out a match and lit it to take a puff off of his pipe. After a long puff and a sigh of relief, he looked back and saw Cub manually rolling the ball towards the pin at the end of the lane. He quickly ran over to grab Cub. Cub managed to get the ball to the pins and knocked a few over before Pop arrived and pulled Cub away. But as Pop turned, the lane guard lowered and caught his leg, knocking Pop over as the mechanisms went to pick up all the pins. One of the things grabbed Pop’s leg and started pulling him back, the lane guard starting to tear a chunk of flesh off as the rest of Pop’s body was pulled into the inner mechanisms of the machine. Cub just watched as his dad was turned into a pile of goo in front of him, before smiling and just wandering off back into the arcade.

Cub walked up to the basketball game and saw all the balls hiding behind the one little guard thing. Cub climbed onto the machine and wedged himself into the machine before he managed to get to the other side, having free reign to shoot as many hoops as he wanted, whilst also being in the danger zone for the aftermath of his missed shots. —- Petunia, Giggles, Lammy, Flaky, and Maple all walked into the building together. They quickly joined up with Toothy, Cuddles and Mime who were already there waiting for them, and the group all walked up to the front counter to grab their game tokens for Laser tag. Lumpy quickly got the group sorted with all of their game tokens, handing them off with a smile and motioning the big group to all head to another room to get ready to play. The group all did as instructed, but instead of following them, Lumpy thought it would be best to check out the disturbances he had been hearing from the arcade. He walked over and the first thing he noticed was Cub stuck in the basketball machine. He quickly walked up and reached into it to try and pull Cub out, but as he leaned over, Mole suddenly bumped into him from behind. Lumpys head got lodged in the machine and as he struggled to free himself, he accidentally turned the machine on. The guard lifted and took the top half of Lumpy’s skull with it as his lifeless corpse slowly slid off of the machine. Cub shot another basketball, but the loud noise behind him caught his attention and he turned around to see Lumpy’s torn head. He looked at it with curiosity for a moment before the basketball he shot earlier crushed him, killing him instantly.

The group all walked into the prep room where a video showed them all how to put on their vests and use their gun, although Flaky couldn’t see to get it on properly due to her quills. The group all waited long after the video ended for Lumpy, the worker, to come let them into the game. Eventually after a few people started getting impatient Maple walked up and used his stick to press the key that started the game. Everyone ran into the laser tag room quickly as a countdown sounded out till the game started. Mime found an isolated corner and started crafting a fort with his Mime abilities, slowly but surely giving himself a nice view of the arena as the rest all scattered amongst the two floors of the playing field. Flaky started getting lost below the second floor as it felt especially cramped. She turned a corner and suddenly an indicator above the doorway flashed red and let out a loud noise. She jumped back from the sudden noise and heard some slicing go out behind her. She quickly turned around, looking around, but she saw nothing. She kept looking around for a bit until she felt something drip on her back. She quickly reached back and felt something wet on her quills, which she quickly pulled off. There was suddenly a loud thud as she saw Cuddle’s corpse fall to the ground. She screamed out and dropped her gun, letting it dangle as she ran around. Though as she panicked she felt how heavy the gun was and due to the weird way she had to put the vest on, it started choking her a bit. She swung her head to look at something, but the gun caught the side of the doorway behind her and suddenly in a fraction of a second, the vest around her neck gave a harsh tug and suddenly twisted her neck, making her drop dead right next to Cuddles.

Giggle’s was on the second floor having a snipe off with Maple who was on the first floor. She kept peeking to try and shoot him and every time she did, he nearly got a kill on her. But after a few peeks maple suddenly shot the laser straight into Giggle’s eye. She instantly recoiled as she brought her hands up to her head, holding it in pain. Lammy was creeping up to Giggles’ snipers nest and quickly peeked the corner to try and get a good shot. But instead she bumped into Giggles and knocked her off balance, sending her tumbling back until she fell off of the second floor. Lammy quickly peeked over and saw Giggles land on a structure, her body getting split in half as her top stayed on a structure and her bottom fell to the floor below it. She recoiled in panic, quickly darting her head around as she called out for help. Petunia poked her head out, once she noticed that Lammy wasn’t holding her gun she dropped her guard. Petunia ran up to Lammy, but as she did Lammy suddenly looked at Petunia in horror. She watched as Mr Pickles suddenly jumped onto Petunia’s head, grabbed her gun, and started strangling her with the cord that attaches the gun to the vest. Lammy ran up to Petunia and pushed Mr Pickles away. She went to untie the cord, but Petunia suddenly fell over as Lammy’s grip on the cord and gun held firm, making Petunia break her neck as she fell to the floor, dead.

Toothy was walking around with his gun held tight, he peeked a few corners quickly, but eventually he came to the corner of the room. He let out a sigh until he heard a blast above him. Toothy looked up and saw Mime, floating whilst shooting at Maple, pumping his fist once he landed a good shot. Toothy felt around, as he did, his gun swung around and hit something solid. Mime looked down in horror as a loud creak wrang out. Mime suddenly stumbled around as his crafted structure started collapsing. Toothy stepped back, but neither stood a chance as Toothy crushed to death under the tower and Mime was stabbed to death by a bunch of debris.

Maple was very on edge after hearing the two yell out, followed by the crashing of Mimes tower. He was crazy on edge and it came to a climax as suddenly all the lights went red, a loud voice suddenly arose. “GAME OVER, PLEASE VACATE THE ROOM IMMEDIATELY.” Maple jumped up in panic and pushed the stick he was chewing on into the back of his mouth. He quickly put his hands on his neck as he started choking and hacking and coughing. The room eventually went dark before he finally managed to cough up the stick. Although right as one problem was fixed another one was generated. He started looking around at the near pitch black room, his body starting to jolt and twitch as he chittered his teeth together. He started stumbling around while desperately looking for the stick he coughed up, feeling around until his hand caught some small cylinder. Without thinking he lifted it up and sunk his teeth into it. His whole body lit up with light as a very large dose of electricity surged through his body, killing him almost instantly. Lammy was now all alone in the dark, freaking out from all the chaos around her, just curled into a ball on the floor by herself. The end.
