The boys go fishing

STARRING Maple, Pop n’ Cub, Flippy, Russell.

Maple held the boat while everyone got in, Flippy got in first, then Cub, then Pop, then Russell, and finally Maple pushed off and hopped in. He slowly weaved through the crowd until he got to the back of the boat, quickly firing up the engine of the motor. Russel sat in the front, then Pop and Cub behind him, Flippy behind them and Maple at the back. Maple drove them off to somewhere in the middle of the lake, eventually he stopped and turned off the engine, signalling Russell to drop the anchor. The group all got to work on setting up the fishing rods as Cub poked into their bag of snacks and started munching on some chips. Eventually the rods were all set up and the group all put a line in the water.

They made small talk to pass the time, but eventually Maple got a bite. He fought with the fish for a bit and eventually Pop got the net for him, after a minute Pop scooped up a pretty big fish. Maple grabbed it and pried the hook out, quickly measuring its size. He let out a disappointed sigh. “Dangit! Too big! Oh well…” Maple leaned over and dipped the fish back into the water.

Cub noticed Pops rod bobbing a bit and grabbed it, trying to mimic what Maple was doing. He stood up on the bench for leverage as Pop looked over. Pop reached out for Cub, but Cub was quickly dragged off the boat and into the water by the fish. All 4 of them got up, but Pop was the one to act as he dropped his pipe in the boat and jumped in after. Flippy, Maple, and Russell all stood on the edge of the boat, constantly looking between the water and each other, but eventually Cubs head poked up out of the water, he had a smile on his face as he swam over towards the edge of the boat. Flippy leaned down and nabbed Cub out of the water, placing him down as they kept looking for Pop. Eventually they saw Pop, or what was left of him as a massive pool of blood grew on the surface of the water, shortly after, a bunch of Pop’s fleshy bits, and finally his hat and robe which both had a few bite marks in them.

They all lingered on the edge of the boat, slowly tipping it until suddenly Maple slipped and fell in. Flippy ran over and put his hand out for Maple. Maple scrambled around a bit, but eventually he grabbed onto Flippy’s hand and went to the back of the boat where it was closest to the water to climb back on. But Cub, who was now left alone, waddled over to a button he saw on the engine. As Flippy was pulling Maple up, Cub pushed the button, turning the motor on. Maples legs were instantly sucked into the motor as Flippy’s grip couldn’t compete. Flippy watched as Maple started screaming and crying out in pain, a pool of blood forming around him as he slowly sunk deeper and deeper into the water. Flippys thoughts started getting cloudy as he heard the sounds of gunshots around him, eventually Maple’s head went under the water and Fliqpy was left with Maple’s severed hand.

He started breathing out in a deep grunty tone. He slowly turned around and looked at Russell who had a horrified look on his face. Russell backed up, but quickly realized the only thing behind him was water. He looked back at Fliqpy who had pulled out the filleting knife from the tackle box, then back at the water behind him. Russell turned and jumped into the water, but Fliqpy grabbed his leg, now holding him half submerged in the water. Fliqpy was about to stab Russell, but then he got a devious idea. He looked in Russell’s leg and then made a decently deep cut, letting Russell’s blood flow into the water. Fliqpy just held him still as a bunch of fish swam up and ate Russell alive. Fliqpy just watched as eventually nothing but bones was left, drifting off into the water. Fliqpy looked around until he saw a bright shiny lure sitting on the bench. Flippy reached down and picked it up, finding his rod and putting the lure on, casting it out to the sea.

Cub was kinda just wandering around at the back of the boat, eventually finding the tackle box. He pulled out a very sharp hook, and then a pair of pliers, a lighter, a container of minnows and then finally another extremely sharp fillet knife. He waved up the knife around, until he accidentally jammed the knife into the gasoline tank. Flippy looked over and gasped a bit, quickly hurrying over and taking the knife from him. “Now now Cub, you shouldn’t play with sharp things that can hurt you…” Cub frowned a bit as Flippy put the knife away and moved the tackle box away from Cub. But Cubs eyes drifted to the lighter. He picked it up and switched it on, giggling to himself. Flippy heard the sound and looked over again, quickly reaching for it. But Cub moved his hand away defensively, jamming the flame right against the tank of gasoline. A second later the tank exploded, reducing the boat to rubble and sending chunks for Flippy and Cub everywhere. The end
